On Friday they performed their first gig in the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai in front of their fans.

The first picture was of the entire band together and they were wearing matching blue and black suits.

Next was a close-up image of Shane and he was beaming as he performed for fans.

The final photo was of the band looking out at the crowd as they had their flashlights pointed at them.

Shane captioned the pictures saying: “Shanghai what a start to our China tour.. 2 great shows!! Thank you.”

Fans and friends of Shane praised the band for their performance in his comment section.

One follower commented saying: “Nothing gonna change the love for Westlife.”

The singer visited his hometown to compete in The Warriors Run which is one of Ireland’s toughest competitive races located in Strandhill, Sligo.

The competitors run 15km from the Cannon Gun at the beachfront to the top of Knocknarea, around Queen Maeve’s Cairn and back around to the beach.

Shane took part in this year’s event and enjoyed it thoroughly.

His wife Gillian, kids Nicole, Patrick and Shane Junior all cheered him on from the sidelines.

Shane took to Instagram to share a snap of himself looking the part while running down the road in black shorts, a black top, black runners and some sunglasses on.

The 44-year-old also posted a picture of his medal he received.

He captioned the post” |A life long box ticked… did the @warriorsrun yesterday for the first time and it was amazing!

“It wasn’t easy by any means especially on that mountain… but it felt great to finally do it.

“Well done to all the 1200 competitors and the organisers and people cheering us on all the way!

“Such a fantastic atmosphere!! And congrats to fellow Sligo man @seamie_whizz on winning his second warriors run in a row!”
